One country that has seen a particularly impressive rise in social entrepreneurship is Uganda. With a population of over 40 million people, Uganda faces a range of social issues, including poverty, inadequate access to healthcare and education, and environmental degradation. In response, a new generation of social entrepreneurs has emerged, dedicated to creating positive change in their communities.
What we do in Uganda is just one example of the innovative work being done by social entrepreneurs in the country. Founded in 2015 by a group of young Ugandans, What we do in Uganda is a social enterprise that aims to improve access to clean water and sanitation in rural communities.
